My opinion on Emma Watson’s “HeForShe” speech.

A lot of people have been talking about Emma Watson’s recent speech at a HeForShe event at the United Nation’s headquarters in New York. For those of you have yet to hear the speech, it’s time for you stop living under a rock and listen to it.

I, of course, really liked it. I’ve have experience in speech writing, and in giving speeches, as I was on the debate team at my two year college. The speech was strong. Just long enough to powerfully convey her point, but not too long to where it become redundant. Emma Watson is an amazing and powerful speaker, and I believe that the UN made the right decision in making her a Good Will Ambassador. Her speech was eloquent, well put together and relevant.
