Conversations I Wish I Had

How about a chocolate Christmas tree this year?

This is a chocolate Christmas tree.

Yes, that’s right you can eat this. (Almost) all of this.

It is called the Tree Of Wonder.

And what a wonder it is.

The ‘tree’ part is made up of 25 sugar shakes-inducing solid chocolate rings.

The ‘decorations’ are basically giant chocolate mendiants – traditional French sweets comprising chocolate, nuts and dried fruits.

These mendiants feature gold leaf and dark and blonde chocolate (yes, that’s right, blonde chocolate’s a thing now).

There’s also 130 solid chocolate pine cones.

Some gold thread is involved to hold it up which you probably shouldn’t eat though.

The tree weighs more than 4kg and is more than 6.7m high.

That’s quite tall enough to replace your usual tree.

Plus, did I mention YOU CAN EAT IT.

It will set you back £700 though.
